Shanghai was filled with impressive skyscrapers, bustling streets, and a mix of traditional and contemporary architecture. We visited famous landmarks such as the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Bund, and Yu Garden. The breathtaking views from the top of the Oriental Pearl Tower allowed us to see the entire cityscape of Shanghai. Walking along the Bund, we admired the stunning skyline and enjoyed a leisurely stroll alongside the Huangpu River. Yu Garden, with its traditional Chinese architecture and beautiful scenery, gave us a glimpse into the rich history and culture of the city.

After exploring Shanghai, we took a train to Beijing, the capital of China. Beijing was filled with historical sites and cultural treasures. We visited the magnificent Forbidden City, where we marveled at the grandeur of the ancient imperial palace. The Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, was another highlight of our trip. We hiked along a section of the wall and were amazed by its vastness and the breathtaking views it offered. We also visited the Temple of Heaven, where we learned about the ancient rituals and traditions of the Chinese emperors.

In addition to exploring the cities, we also tried various local cuisines and immersed ourselves in the local culture. We ate delicious dumplings, noodles, and Peking duck, among other traditional dishes. We also watched a traditional Chinese opera performance and learned about the art of Chinese calligraphy. It was fascinating to experience the different customs and traditions of each city.

Overall, our summer vacation was an incredible adventure that allowed us to discover the beauty of China and create unforgettable memories as a family. 　　I had a busy and interesting summer vacation. I did my homework every day so I finished doing my homework ten days before the new term. I also played table tennis and basketball with my friends every day. I sometimes went movies and went to the parks with my friends. I surfed the internet, read books and watched TV every evening. I visited my grandparents and helped them with the housework, too. I helped my parents clean the room and cook meals. The most important was that my parents and I went to Hannan Island and spent a week there.
